Depression

Depression

When you lose your inner light
and intensifies the ongoing fight,
Days and nights seem to merge,
Emotional outburst is at its verge,

In absolute darkness you get lost,
solitude takes over, the ultimate ghost,
Missing few beats, the subtle heart sobs,
tears of sorrow fail to nurture throbs,

Successive thoughts pull you down,
whirlpool that ensures you drown,
Logic of life, death and suicide,
end to all grief, desires and pride !

You obviously know of what I speak. I hope this is more commentary than introspection. Very beautiful... very sad.... Thank you.

One of the greatest gifts you can give the sufferer is a listening ear, which you clearly did. Blessyer.
