Depressing

cheerful families sitting around
the tree
there faces all aglow with joy
and happiness
each thanking the other for what
was recieved
hugging each other tightly as
more thanks
each watching the other open
there gifts
there faces glowing brighter as
they watch
all joyous
glum faces sit around
a television
there faces lit up by the glow
from the shows
each wishing there really was a fat jolly guy in a red suit
hugging themselves to
keep warm
each wishing the other would
break the tension
each of there faces now gleaming
brighter, from the tears
all broken
