Department Store Santa

I knew a fellow who played Santa Claus He hated department stores just because Kids were insightful, but Sometimes a bit spiteful And his snow white beard was made out of gauze.

I wonder if any department stores do this? “Kids are insightful”- so true.

I imagine they do, Caren. Sometimes parents don't come prepared for the reaction from the kids upon seeing the jolly old elf!

I think that department-store Santas have a 'no-bite clause.' Tee-hee, Elf

I should hope they do. Children can be rather trying at times and they are under a lot of stress to be happy when they go to see Santa...and they don't see people like him every day, you know.

I hope there was more gauze on his lap . . . . .

Thanks for your comment, Rico. I'm not sure what it means, but I'm assuming children wet on Santa occasionally????
