Depart From Me For I Never Knew You

In the quiet of the night, they come, 
Voices raised, hearts undone. 

“Lord, Lord,” they cry, with fervent plea, 
"Have we not prophesied in Your name, faithfully?

We cast out demons, healed the sick, 
In Your name, our hearts did quick. 

But in the silence, a voice so clear,
“Depart from Me, for I never knew you, My dear.”

For deeds alone, though grand they seem, 
Cannot replace a heart redeemed. 

In love and truth, we find our way, 
To walk with Him, each blessed day.

So seek not just the works of hand,
