Kim. Denver fan here! Got to know him in San Francisco. Was a charmer and a great human being. John, Valerie Harper, many others, myself, my daughter and I started the Hunger project in San Francisco in the 70's. He may be gone, but his contribution to humanity lives on. My daughter got a gift...one of his first albums from one involved. She was only 8 then. Panagiota

Kim, you write a fine verse about my all-time favorite performer! And living in Colorado, John Denver is the Colorado spirit! We were privileged to see his performance at the Colorado state fair a few years ago. Thanks for your congrats re the The Fisherman's Catch & release! Bob H

Your welcome! I saw him in concert so many years ago. At the time didn’t really know him. Back in 1979 in Virginia Beach.
