Denial
I have a father
who denies me
A father denied by his father
A father who has fathered many
But, Fathered few
I am his child.
I’ll not deny him.
He has my love
though he denies it.
He has my grief
though he’d despise it.
I have a father
so little mine,
so little left, here.
I have a father.
I’ll keep him near.
A father to me
who is so dear.
