Several family members have had this condition....probably no hope for me.

Sigh too true, sometimes I think it is ahrdenst on the loved one who are no longer recognized but do remember who was there before.

It is heart breaking for the people who love the person who has any form dementia but once the person with the dementia gets so far along they don't know their condition..That fact helped me through seeing my loved ones all come down slowly with different forms of dementia...Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

This disease takes away your loved one, leaving an imposter in their place...so cruel. Thanks for your comment. I love checking out the other poems /poets on this site....so inspirational.
