Confusion creeps up
Stealing their reality,
Heartache for loved ones.

It is heart breaking for the people who love the person who has any form dementia but once the person with the dementia gets so far along they don't know their condition..That fact helped me through seeing my loved ones all come down slowly with different forms of dementia...Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

This disease takes away your loved one, leaving an imposter in their place...so cruel. Thanks for your comment. I love checking out the other poems /poets on this site....so inspirational.
