Dementia

In the dictionary beside the word 'dementia'
Is a picture of your man Jackers
The description reads 'he's off his noodle'
This man is totally crackers

Not a sane thought in his whole damn noodle
Couldn't handle it if there was
Probably freak out and strip down naked
Running hell bent from the fuzz

Now Jackers shouldn't be judged too harshly
He's really a gentle old soul
Just that the years have caught up with old Jackers
He's no longer the one in control

So don't go feeling all depressed for this dude
He's a real happy camper inside
All he knows is he's loved by you friendlies
And he's just along for the ride

I think you been smokin' that wacky tobacky Jacky. :) Love that you call yourself Jackers. I was heartily laughing all the way though the first time. It's a fine line we walk. But, I think most people get that your just bringin' the fun. I certainly enjoyed it. But, I think you should keep your clothes on. :) Keep em' smilin' Jack.

I think your faculties are firmly in place probably because of all the synapses you have developed writing poetry. Another fun one.

What a poem you have written. There comes a time that we might get dementia, I hope that I don't. It's no fun for the people that have to take care of you. My sister in law had it and her had a hard time dealing with it. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law! Maybe I shouldn't have made fun of something so sad and so serious! My apologies! Love, Jack xox
