Defining the Indefinables
Garnered in my thoughts is an unknown mentor, The Lyric
The first to welcome and walk me into the world of soupers
He himself is there and yet not there for his presence is felt by few
The thought of him brings three dancing penguins into my mind
The Silent One kept me alerted and enthused with brevity
His silence reflects his fortitude in raising his children single handedly
His poems echo his loyalty to a bygone era of world that could have been
Sandra Haight and Richard Lamoureux take me into an unbounded utopia
Their warm encouragement even for a simple effort seems rewarding
A mere look at their soft looks arouses an undulating feeling of protectiveness
