He would try
I would move on
He could move on
I would remember
He would forget her
I would try
He would cheat her
I would cheat the other
He would sneak
I would sneak
We would laugh
Together
It's all in the news now, ain't it
It's all on their minds now
Couldn't help it
I don't care anymore
Our past is history
My guy's in the city
And I'm left in these woods
Oh well
Was it nowhere
That we'd landed?
No bother thinking back
We're too far now
Don't let down a lover
In revenge when
It made no sense
