Defense of the Storm

Lightning explodes across endless black sky
Sharp fingers extend from golden forked band
Exposing terror and fright in child’s eye
Thunderous BOOM echos across the land 
Mother Nature fails not to mystify
Battle and Beauty entwined on scale grand
Forever astounding with great power
Determined grandeur amidst cool shower
