Deer Crossing

Deer crossing
Pulse quickens
There's one now
Drat it. Wasn't ready...

Deep breath
Good...Exhale
Again...Ready?
Ready!
Where are they?
Tension builds
Dang. Had to hiccup
Timing is everything

OK. Deep breath again
The old familiar drill
Hands are clammy
Settle down
Can't miss another chance
Steady now
Here come two
Pause
Aim
Shoot!
Got 'em!
Perfect photo!

Frozen, like a deer in headlights. Love the ending, for a second there I thought you were a hunter. Like how you did this. Nice, Gershon. Be well...Charlie

Nope, never a hunter, nor a bricklayer either. Just everthing in-between. LOL. Thanks, Charlie! :) Gershon

You had me thinking the worst, but that was your intention and it was awesome. Well executed!

Thanks, Lin! I like your use of the word 'executed,' in the comment. Certainly fits this one. Smiles, Gershon
