Deep calls unto deep, I heard your voice And could not sleep. Mighty waters Filled my soul, You are now My upward goal. To find you here, This time and space, And yet I never Saw Your face. A Living Brook And my heart stirred, I grabbed a Book And read Your Word. You reached to me, And I could see, The depth of time The love sublime A Mighty Spirit A gentle rain You pulled me up To life again Deep calls unto deep Your promise, Mine to keep

It does seem like an eternity, but He says our lives are but a vapor. So many that I love are already there, in His presence. I am amazed by His love, reaching into the darkness to find us. He is an awesome God.

Thank you Sara, I really appreciate your encouraging words. I just read through this poem again. I left a reply on your your poem 'Half of a Heart' written seven years ago. God has kept you these seven years when you didn't expect to have very long to live when you wrote it. I can see how this poem would bless you, it is what He has done for you personally. How wonderful! I really love your poem, and the miracle of life attached to it via your testimony!
