Deep Calls Unto Deep

Deep calls unto deep,
I heard your voice
And could not sleep.

Mighty waters 
Filled my soul,
You are now
My upward goal.

To find you here,
This time and space,
And yet I never
Saw Your face.

A Living Brook
And my heart stirred,
I grabbed a Book
And read Your Word.

You reached to me,
And I could  see,
The depth of time
The love sublime

A Mighty Spirit
A gentle rain
You pulled me up
To life again

Deep calls unto deep
Your promise,
Mine to keep

I am amazed by His love, reaching into the darkness to find us. He is an awesome God.
