Dedicated To a Friend: Avery Mills

As days go by I feel a connection.
A love of affection that I don’t want to put to an abate.
That makes my heart want to lead to you.
Then again, hiding feelings inside solves nothing.
I can honestly say you open my heart to learn to love.
Still and yet, I have no control over the words I say to you.
Sorry if they run so deep. Now it’s a familiar dream,
I looked in the darkness. There I seen something
very bright that blinded my eye.
Then, I saw someone dressed in all white.
I began to run toward, it was a goodbye.
Seems like I found him again. Sometimes I wonder if its you.
Each day, I listen to my heart, but my mind it tells me nothing.
So hopefully we won’t take the wrong paths, maybe we can make this out of
something.
Now that I’m on this new life, Im starting to awaken and realize
why was I so stuck on him after all the things he had done to me?
Why did I let him take over me when all he brought was pain?
Why did I cry the tears I cry?
Yet, but still.
I just didn’t someone like Avery Mills.
I want you to know, I want to thank you.
I will never question myself again.
Its over, its said, its done.
Still again, I love you.
I just want to look in your eyes, but not to find an image.
“Image is nothing” so were back to searching for something.
What is it that I search for?
I really don’t want respond because it refers to you.
Like I said before hiding feelings solves nothing.
If I could have you. I’ll love you like no other.
I show better than I can tell you.
No, I don’t tell you what you want to hear, its just my use of words God has given
to me.
I’m just telling you how I feel about you,
this is a poem, that’s based on a true story.
