Deceptive Light

It looked so warm and sunny as I stepped into that light Thinking I would bask outside in this afternoon delight Then that cold breeze hit me on that afternoon so clear I then knew that I would not find the warmth I'm seeking here.

Wow Lenna, this can be taken a couple of different ways and each way I can think of I like it. It is short and compact but says so much, at least to me. It can actually be about weather and temperature or it can express an even deeper meaning. And as usual with your writing the flow is very smooth and melodic. Your words sings as I read them. Really nicely done my friend. You are very talented.

Thank you for your clear insight into the double meaning Chris and this raving review on my writing. I did exactly as it says in the forefront, then after coming inside, my analytical mind thought about how this can fit with life experiences, so I wrote it :)
