December's Swan Song

Exiting autumn 
Gentle winds whisper
Foretelling snow storms
As last days wither
In songs of winter

Dry trees shudder
In frigid nights
Dreaming of spring’s
Blooming flowers--

Though at dawn
Pink sunrise
Warms up hearts

Birds are
Flying

South
