December Youth
In my December Youth
with the pangs of winter's hold
gripping my heart with winter's frost
I was a child taking comfort in being lost
filled with static as i tune in
to a station in my head chiming ambience
a kaleidoscope of potpourri vibes stirring me
with all the nuts in my family tree
shaken to the ground taken to be found
and liken to the hearth bordering the flame
a simple spark to induce life
in this perpetual December of olde
partaking in my innocence
robbing my confidence
as maturity matures into a stage of security
that allows me to be a man
in my December Youth
