Dear December, forgive my silence, I'm tired of singing to the moon, watching the sea swallow flaming rays, cloaked in shame, am I to take the blame~ dragging clouds of doubt with silver shadows cast? I never knew words could weigh heavier than dancing diamonds. Yet, tonight I gaze beyond trembling skies; perhaps, in their liquified state, metaphors do flow. So, wait for me when twilight dims, as poetry breathes your name, amidst darkness… - ~Forgive my silence Mistreated Waterfall chandeliers Card of lies Silent Epistles Cerulean seclusion Sakura Raindrops Heart of time Poetry breathes you Would you still love me ..

This was the most difficult contest to judge for me... It took me a while and there was a lot of rearranging of positions, but you were always up there at the top.. You really know how to write a poem that pleases me.. I can feel the yearning and angst in your words, you really know who to describe emotions in a most poetic way, using great metaphors... Your metaphors always flow and so smoothly also.. Thank you for writing for my last contest... Congratulations on your trophy... Enjoy it..

IE, love the title, and also how you put this together. I suspect it's not easy. You managed to take the silent feeling and express optimism by the time the poem ends. Really great form. You have great talent. Smiles and have a great 2025!!

So beautifully blended together. Nothing sticks out. Thoughts flow so effortlessly making it an altogether new poem without giving a feeling that it is a compilation from many poems. By weaving together threads from your old poems, you have created a rich tapestry and a new one altogether, each line flowing seamlessly to the next. All the Best, dear Empress. Gorgeously put together, Ink. I spent so much time on mine. I got some of it to rhyme bits really hard to sort thru lots of poems to do that. He is getting lots of great entries. But I bet this one makes the list

I was thinking the same haha but i got 41 entries for my premier too, altho silent ones contest will be tougher to judge as i can see so many wrote good ones! I sent you an email! Hope you are ok sweet andrea
