December 26th In Christmas Town
T’was the day after Christmas and the reindeer were asleep.
The elves had been resting their feet and were not making a peep.
Mrs. Claus tiptoed around Santa who was snoring away.
It was a totally kick-back, sleepy, easy relaxing day.
North pole festivities had stopped, baking had ceased.
No one cared a bit if their uniforms were ironed or creased.
December 26th is the beginning of a holiday in Christmas town.
If you are gutsy enough to visit, we will bed you right down.
