Debutante

WHIRR!
The noise
Hair-Dryer
Nails Polished Pink.
It's her first prom night.
Drenched in waves of blue silk
And black shoes with heels to kill.
Not a strand out of place on a
Nervous seventeen-year-old's blonde head.
The lights shine tonight for the ballroom's belle.
