Death Seeks Me
The light of the Lord
Shines in front of me
Guiding me through the darkness
Placing shadows over my dreams
I reach for life to continue
In the midst of hardships
Bringing me home from wonderment
Of confusion and despair
Hope I kept endearing
Through the tunnels of life
Shining at the exit
As I stand at the entrance
Death seeks me out
But the hand of deliverance
Reaches out for my soul
As I take another road
A path of optimism
Unlike those before
That went no where
Reaching a dead end
