Death Note
I’ve lost my battle.
I tried to hold on,
I tried to stay.
But I just couldn’t.
I stayed for you,
but I couldn’t handle anymore.
I promised to watch over you,
and that I shall do.
That is the promise,
I swore to never break.
I will forever love you,
and will never forget you.
I shall never let the memories,
slip from my mind.
Stay alive for me,
please do that for me.
We shall meet again,
in another life.
