Death must be so beautiful
Death must be so beautiful,
A gentle whisper, a peaceful hue,
A release from life's turmoil and pain,
A serene surrender, a soul's sweet refrain.
With softly closing eyes, and a sigh,
The weary heart, its burden denies,
The weight of the world, it slowly sheds,
And in stillness, the spirit quietly spreads.
Like autumn leaves, that rustle and fall,
Life's fleeting moments, beyond recall,
Death gathers them, in a gentle hand,
And in eternal sleep, a peaceful land.
Oh, death must be so beautiful,
A liberation from life's plodding duel,
A transcendence to realms unknown,
A mystical union, with the infinite throne.
Yet, we who remain, in sorrow we stay,
Longing for love, that's gone away,
But even in grief, a beauty we find,
A bittersweet reminder, of the peace left behind.
