Death Is Terrified

Bishop of our souls, looked below.
His blood, a flow.
Life, gave it all —
so great our fall.

The great I Am entombed. Presumed
that mankind’s doomed!
Angels abide
by Jesus side.

Of scripture, death is terrified.
His eyes are wide
when Jesus wakes —
bides fire in lakes.*
