My sister just lost her husband of forty plus years,

her tears of pain flow making her suffer even more.

Her memories roll over in her mind like a movie.

What can one say to ease the pain?

There is nothing I can say or do that will help ease her heart.

I love you sis. I wish I could be there to hug you.

Tears from heaven fall blessing the earth thirst, Nurturing life with its purity. Human tears do not wash the pain away, It just weakens the soul to feel the pain even more. God blessed us with prayer for hope and strength. Death is not the end, But the beginning to live again in heaven with Christ. 4/25/2022

Very well-said. With Christ, death is conquered. All the best. ^JCB

They say that communication intensifies when the person is lost physically. When they are around, owing to many reasons, we might not find time to communicate with them whenever we want. But when they join the eternity, they stay all around us, within us that we can communicate wherever and whenever we want to. Your sister's pain might reduce when she realises and trusts in this. I wish her all the strength.

Death is not a termination or a finality, Eve. It is a transition. Believers never die, according to the scriptures. I could really feel the passion in your poem.

I'm so sorry Eve, how horribly sad. I will pray for her, and your family. My son-in-law's uncle just passed a few days ago after battling health issues, he too left a broken hearted wife. He too is beginning his new life in heaven with Christ, we mourn, but not as those who have not the hope we share. God bless you. <3 ~BJ

Thank you, BJ, for your prayers. Prayers is such a powerful tool. Sorry for your loss as well, and may his wife be blessed to have loved ones around to easy some of the pain. Bless you

May he rest in peace. She should pray for him. Prayer is powerful. I know, I passed five years in that misery but I feel strong. Hugs.
