Death and Love

The sunset bleeds into night and my body bleeds into the darkness, dragged over the abyss claws rip into my flesh; here I face my demons. And my eyes, stare blank into grey twilight warm hands grope only finding frozen flesh so cold, but so red. And my skin, loses shade paling into nothing; wet warm lips descend upon blue lips if only to feel once more. An my lips, feel you, one last taste before deaths kiss; fingers feel for a heartbeat brushing hair out of half-closed eyes. And my body, is tugged to you,but death? Death is jealous. A heartbeat strains in an attempt, final decision to be made. And you, you fight to bring me back and light fills my eyes.
