Dear Sister
Clinging to the memories of all that we've been through.
Cherishing the happy times and all my love for you.
Believing that forever starts with each tomorrow.
Standing by you waiting for the end to all your sorrow.
Born without our choosing into this life we're hurled.
Greater is He within us than he that's in this world.
We squared off with the devil through tragedy and affliction.
Standing tall against them all now brought low by addiction.
Never really all alone I'm standing here by you.
This river that you're facing I'm here to see you through.
Overcome by sometimes loneliness and pain that is so real.
Each new day a brand new way and happiness to feel.
Think not about the yesterdays or things you think you lack.
Know I love you Dear Sister and I've always got your back.
