Dear old swing, hanging from our back yard tree.
Well I remember those long summer days
as memories of childhood now flood me.
For hours I swang! It was more than a phase.
Well I remember those long summer days.
Alone, feeling free, with daydreams flowing,
for hours I swang! It was more than a phase.
How high I could climb once I got going!
Alone, feeling free, with daydreams flowing!
Thinking of back then – I sit with a sigh.
How high I could climb once I got going.
Let me once again fly up to the sky!
Thinking of back then – I sit with a sigh
as memories of childhood now flood me.
Let me once again fly up to the sky -
Dear old swing, hanging from our back yard tree.
