Dear Mum

I would like to give you something
To make your life complete
I would like to give you sunshine
To place beneath your feet
If I could sing a song for you
In an orchestra so loud
I would sing it up so high
That it could reach a cloud
I wish with every breath I take
That soon will make you well
But every day I'm here for you
For within my heart you dwell
Because you are the sweetest mum
My confidant, my friend
