Dear Lord, It's Me

Dear Lord, it's me
Remember God?
My name is Julie Ann.
When I was younger, years ago
You used to hold my hand.
It's been awhile, I know
Since I've called upon your name.
I guess I've just forgotten
That you will listen all the same.
I promise now I'm here to stay
I'll call on you each day.
I'll sit and visit just to talk
And never walk away.
Dear Lord, it's me
Remember God?
My name is Julie Ann.
I know that I'm no longer young
But won't you hold my hand?
