Dear Husband

My love for you is unconditional,
It has not wavered.
My expectations of you are higher now,
Our situation has changed, haven't you observed?

Gone are the days where no strings were attached,
We it was just about frolic and fun.
We can still have fun now,
But only after all our work is done.

My belief in you is unmovable
It has not dwindled.
I will push you harder though
But remember, each push is powered by love.

There's no need to prove that you are the man.
I already know that you are.
Prove to me that you are the best husband,
And you'll forever have my heart.

Prove to our son that you are the best father,
And he'll write your name in the stars.
And only then, Dear Husband, you'll see
Just as you give us yours, we'll give you our all.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

That all sounds fine and with good form. Just some things we just need to pray on and for.
