Dear God
Dear God, I get excited,
Just for Sunday School,
For some reason, now,
Learning about You is so cool!
In the choir with the others,
Is where I love to be,
Singing praises in Your Name,
Is just fine for me.
Dear God, I long,
To grow closer to You each day,
I long to learn to love You;
To hear what You have to say.
I want to sing to You,
All the day long,
I want to give You praise,
In the form of a song.
