Dear God

Dear God:

I’m begging for your comfort
I need your guidance
Only you can I trust with my well-being.

Nothing major to declare
Not even sin to bare
Lord, only you can help!

You know my pain
My cries are loud like a wolf
Sorry to bother you over and over.

Dear Son:

If you only knew all the pain
Most I buffer you from
The rest you can grow through.

Sin entered the world; life changed
Your suffering is just your flesh.
Keep the spirit I gave you willing.

The spirit is where ultimate comfort lies
But you can’t quit on your flesh
I, God, need your flesh to:

Be my love to others
Ease their pain by being there
Let them see me through your love.

Thanks
