Dear Daddy

Dear daddy

I know you are old but wiser
Knew every meaning of life
You've travelled the trails of hardships
Carried the load of tragedy
Seeking the light of peace
Thus we, the children
Are secured under the roof of bliss
We know not the plight you've gone
The challenges you've encountered
But, how great you are!
Overcame all, revealed the joy,
Thus we, the children
Rejoice in boon of your sweats
We saw the world a beautiful place to live
As your tears are now our laughter
Your sorrow our joy.
