Dear Dad

Dear Dad, you left me but I understand why You finally got your wings and you started to fly My heart hurts the most, I doubt will heal But I try to comprehend the pain that you did feel All the meds you had to take, oxygen all day We all wanted you to live but that's not the right way Yes I'm selfish and I'm mad, I feel I needed you more But God has better plans, something big for you in store Please look after me and the kids, keep your eyes on us Because we lost the best man, we lost our greatest love You'll forever be my Dad, my best friend 'till the end Wait on me, for that day, we'll finally meet again I'll look after Mom, I won't ever leave her side Me, the kids, and mom, I think we'll be alright
