Dear 2020
Dear Year 2020,
Thank You!
For Teaching Me the Value of Time, Both Moments Spent With Those Whom I Love, and the Memories Of Those Lost During Your Stay.
Thank You, For Making Me Truly Realize How Precious Each Second, Minute Or Hour Could Be, Not Knowing If We Will Get More, And if So will it be More of What We Have Experienced Thus Far? , Or Even Worse?
You introduced Me to the term(s) COVID-19, Social-Distancing, Pandemic, and Numerous Other Words Which Previously Were Merely Listed in a Dictionary, and not Imprinted On My Mind.
You Showed Me What Really Matters Most In Life To Me.
Previously I thought it was Money, Social Status, Material Possessions, Job Security and numerous Other Seemingly Tangible Things that Now Seem to Matter Less, Or Have Taken On a Whole New Meaning.
To Your Complement You Seem Like the Longest Year-Ever, Or At Least Of Recent Memory.
Within Your Walls I Lost and Said Goodbye To My Dad, and Now Also will Soon Say Hello to a New Baby Girl.
So You Have Evoked Joy, Pain, Anxiety, Awareness, Grief, A Sense Of Helplessness and Numerous Other Emotions that Eludes Me Right Now.
The Most Exciting Part is that You Still Have Three Months Left, Until We Say Goodbye, and Hello to 2021.
So Give Us All You’ve Got, For I Still Know My Heavenly Father Hold’s You in the Palm Of His Hand.
Thinking Of You,
God Bless,
Sincerely
Paul
