Dealing With Fear
Throughout the years, most fears for family
have been dispelled by their firm guarantee
that they’ll make right decisions, that they’ll be
okay! Since I’m not always worry-free,
I pray for them. I know God hears my plea.
Though with good health, I’m blessed, I must confess
with rush of years, at times I must address
some issues, for I know if I suppress
my fears, my health will suffer. This duress,
with prayer and doctor’s visits, is much less.
When I feared for the future of my soul,
no doctor or loved one could take control.
The knowledge of my lostness took its toll.
The Holy Spirit filled the unique role
of drawing me to Jesus, with the goal
of saving me. The Lord then made me whole.

Though many place deep trust in God and man,
I don’t believe there’s even ONE who can
transcend all fears that rise up in the span
of life, can every stab of anguish ban.
