Deal With the Devil
You’re searching for a saviour
In these hollow halls
Blood staining your clothes
Eyes as black as coal
"Heaven help me"
Says your unholy spirit
You don’t know where darkness ends
And where you begin.
You are bitten, raw with pride
As your bloody hands clench mine
You promised me an empire once
Have you forgotten that?
You’ve travelled
so deep into the darkness
That you’ve perceived
the moon as an illusion
You can’t keep dancing with the devil
And ask why you’re still in hell.
You can’t defeat the demons
You enjoy playing with.
