Notes About The Poem

Dead End

   on dream's longest road;
     pursuit of empty glory
 vanishing light, obscuring...

      stalled by cul-de-sac;
journey was meant to pivot
   enlightenment awakens

Quite profound and thought provoking. Though 'stalled by cul-de-sac, enlightenment awakens'. Congratulations on your win.

Edward, love the poignant imagery and the sense of being "stalled" yet attuned to possibility. Best wishes for the contest and blessings for your journey!
