De Gourmont Phrasis 11 Recited

REMY de GOURMONT PHRASIS 11
Innocence has its instincts,its needs
its physiological dues, but Grace from
on high so opportunely purifies the
petty human passions,brings character
to a perfect unity.Faithfulness only begins
at the moment of discovering one’s real
vocation.To keep this treasure,one must
have found it first.Beware though,mental
sermons can spoil such delicious moments.
From A Virgin Heart (trans by Huxley) 1922

A Phrasis uses selected phrases of Prose from OUT OF COPYRIGHT prose (ie prose over 100 years old) , restyled, reworked to create a new and unique structured prose verse .A line credit is appended identifying the source used.See my kindle ebook for more info on STRUCTURED PROSE.

I found you I guess on YouTube..Does Verse have to rhyme or have meter?..Which is the phrase or phrases quoted from author? Does one use their own lines within the work or does one keep using lines from the author to create a new work?..Thanks for your encouragement in my attempt to write poetry..Sara
