De Danann Tuatha Myth Or Alien

We have a history and we have a reality.
So far, the twain has not met.
Aliens as creatures of Mythology,
We watch and chuckle as explanations beset.
What is the truth? Unravel the mystery
.
Conquering primordial Irish giants was best!
In time, we mastered magic with zest!
We remember those islands of the west.
Men thought we were sent to the underworld
Beings neither good nor evil with magic unfurled.

Yes, invisible, we visit the Celtic lands.
Fighting just battles, warring beside man,
We descendants of the alien Danu still fight.
Blue flamed lances and shields of pure white,
Assist our descendants, yes descendants, of Ireland.

Now, I must smile at human imagination.
We walked among them, fought, and protected.
But when we went home, myths filled the nation.
That we were alien beings was never suspected.
We and leprechauns became their mind’s creation.

So, when they need help, we visit.
Unseen, we wield our magic … widget!
We are neither myth nor fantasy.
Our magic is superior technology!
What is the truth? Unravel the mystery

We exist in fantasy and in reality.
Will the twain ever meet?
You decide; Aliens or creatures of Mythology,
We watch and assist as problems beset.
Did science thwart mythology?

Congratulations on your win. Love it. Science and mankind's enlightenment reveal ancients Gods were needed but not real. Well, perhaps real in that the power given them rests within the souls and labors of men.
