Days With Much Cold
I remember years ago
when we had no heat
It was just so awful
we had frozen feet
The floors were cold
each and every week
When we ate dinner
it was rarely a treat
Everyone would huddle
it was no easy feat
You ate very quickly
left the table in defeat
Now things are different
and there's plenty of heat
Even though expensive
we have heat each week.
