Days of Marbles

Days of marbles

where recess

would find us

in the old school yard

gathering around

the circle we had made,

hoping we would fill our

bag full, before the bell rang.

wonderful reminiscent time James..and.. down here at the seashore there will be a marble tournament next week all week.. which we have attended in the past.. oh the crowds are loving it.. as I luv this piece ..

This is so nice to see. It brings me memories of sixth grade,when I was into marbles too!

You made me think of my brother and his friends....I sure remember those little drawstring bags...and watching them play! (I played jacks!!)
