Days At Our Parent's House

The miracle days at our parent's beautiful house, Where my sister and sons and I lived with our parents. I became a leader with the adults, We would have discussions and I would plan and moderate discussions. We went onto to win the volleyball championships in Hamilton, We played opposite the Americans. Fridays we would have dances, Which I enjoyed I would dress in my prettiest dress. They would have a delicious buffet, Where you could have conversation with a few friends. My friend and I would go to meet someone handsome, I met nice gentleman, some I knew from discussions. Those were the days that were difficult , You managed anyway, Days were I went to work part-time, Weekends i was home with my children. We would go to the park and have a picnic, Then we would toss the frisbee. We would return to our parent's house, dinning elegantly, Our parents would take us to fancy restaurants to dine. Good memories always, I am thankful to the Lord and God. Author: Gwen von Erlach Schutz
