The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord. People will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.
Amos 8:11?-?12 NIV
The days are coming
Will one ever learn
The more one rejects God
The more confusion and delusion
Sent out for one to starve
Would one put trust in man to save
Who is lead by spirit of this world
More worried about external things
That shall fade and pass away
It's within ones soul that is starving
For the true word of God
Thirsting for the living spirit
Still many trying to find fame
Wanting praise in their name
Jesus has done the hard work
While giving all praise to God
Saying it's not me that is good
But God that worketh through Him
To be an example unto all
People will stagger here and fro
Stumbling around in darkness at noon
Weeping and gnashing of anger unto all
Hopefully one day to seek Christ
Getting tired of things seen
Receiving the promised spirit
Within to reveal the truth
To see all the deception in religion
How can one expect ungodly to seek
When the so many called godly are divided
In the word of making it fit their own shrine.
Turning their back on God
Worshipping the sun, moon, stars,
And things of glory made with their hands
Only through worship of spirit and truth
To be revealed the truth of one is no good
But only through the resurrection within
The spirit might dwell to create
One a lighted path unto the Kingdom
May God bless, comfort, guide and fill
You with His peace, love, spirit and joy
In abundance for all who are tired
And seeking a refuge for ones soul and path.
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1 John 5:6 KJV
