Daylight Was Not Much Fun In the Ancient Years
Daylight was not much fun in the ancient years
In fact humans preferred darkness for all was but lots of fears
Then the daylights were longer and seemed to grow into a wall
A wall of essence and being that defied the fall
But the ancient man tried had to run away from the lightning route
They chose to embrace the light outward and hid darkness in hearty mute.
Oh what sadness, which engulfed humanity, lost in pain and debts
Since then man walks but like a beast caged in nets
But they flattered one another with false praises and smiles
They dance and grooved but inside their hearts was poison in piles
Little did they know man lives but only once
In their rot they kept wallowing but in a dunce
Daylight was not much fun in the ancient years
In fact humans preferred darkness for all was but lots of fears
Then the daylights were longer and seemed to grow into a wall
A wall of essence and being that defied the fall
