Daydreaming

~

The sun is bright
in these skies so blue
as my mind wanders 
daydreaming… 

Holding your hand,
the softness of your skin
touching mine,
strolling through the park
taking in the splendor which 
lines this winding pathway
through the trees

When I notice
out of the corner of my eye
you looking at me
I can’t help but smile as I ask,
“What are you looking at?”
You answer in that melodic voice
that so enchants me every time you speak, 
“The man I love…kiss me”

I love daydreaming about you
