Daybreak

As dawn breaks 

birds start singing, 

I hear 

their sweet chorus 

and smile, knowing that
 
I awake
 
to see 

the sun rise 

on a 

brand new day.

Life passes

by all too quickly,

so we should all cherish

each

moment we have left
