Day To Night
The grey of the day,
Broodish and drianing,
In bed I lay.
Waiting and waiting,
For warm Summer rains.
My heart,
It pains.
A soft luminencence,
Of the late Summer sun,
Perks me up,
Out of my glum.
Soon the moon fills
My windowsill.
Such a sight!
Such a thrill.
As night falls,
and daytime wanes.
My heart,
It no longer pains!
