Day One

Day 1 is when you winked at me
Day 2 I saw you grin
Day 3 is when you blew a kiss
Day 4 went out for a spin
Day 5 is when you held my hand
Day 6 gave me a kiss
Day 7 I gave up being coy
Day 8 …well, that was sheer bliss
Day 9 we looked at the stars
Day 10 swam in the sea
Day 11 I cooked you a meal
Day 12 you ravished me
Day 13 we had our first fight 
Day 14 we didn’t speak
Day 15 we kissed and made up
Day 16 you made me weak
Day 17, 18, and 19 
They all started to blur
Day 20 is when you said to me
“Be my forever girl!”

Now we are just counting years
And counting young’uns too
If I had to do it all again
I’d start Day 1 with YOU!
